Artworker
To meet the continued growth of the business, you will be responsible for setting up artwork for Prototype and Production using client supplied assets. You will be required to check assets meet the required print specification and provide feedback to account managers in a timely manner.
Production processes include DTM (Direct to Media), vinyl and screen print. Print technical set up is required for each process, therefore an understanding of these processes would be an advantage.
Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop are the primary tools used. This position requires understanding / interaction across all departments within the business.

Duties and responsibilities
- Create artwork layouts using supplied DXF cutter guides and assets, using mainly Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
- Arranging assets and supplied designs to different sizes and formats.
- Ensure artwork is correctly set up for print purposes.
- Checking and correcting errors including image quality, artwork configuration and compliance with technical drawings.
- Create artwork information guidelines for production on site and clients.
- Manage and organise digital assets and archives.
- Create artwork proofing documentation for production on site and clients.
- Log and record time spent on each project.
- Time management and planning workload with Head of Design.
Qualifications
- Excellent level of knowledge using InDesign
- Excellent level of knowledge using Illustrator
- Excellent level of knowledge using Photoshop
- Excellent level of knowledge using Adobe Suite
- Excellent level of knowledge in colour management
- Good understanding of Pre-Press file requirements.
- Good Word & Excel skills
- An understanding of CAD/DXF files would be an advantage, but not necessary.
