Logistics Administrator

To meet the continued growth of the business, this busy and varied role requires a highly administrative person who will have a good knowledge of sage 50, CRM systems with a calm approachable attitude. 

You will deal with hauliers and various transport companies, along with HMRC & Trader support services for customs processes, the internal Sales team and external customers on a daily basis either on the telephone or face to face.
This is a fast pasted roll that requires attention to detail, good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.

 

 

Duties and responsibilities

• A good working knowledge of Sage 50

• Competent navigation around excel

• A professional & Friendly telephone manner 
• Excellent record keeping abilities
• Speed, accuracy and attention to detail
• A logical approach to workload
• A ‘can do’ attitude
• Ability to work within a team & also use your own initiative
• Comparing transport costs
• General Filing
• Chasing delivery addresses and purchase orders
• Updating the works schedule on a daily basis
• Answering calls, transferring and taking messages
• Organizing transport worldwide, from boxes to pallets, containers and full loads.
• labelling
• Processing Sale orders and invoicing

• Keeping on track with KPI’s

 


Qualifications
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in logistics/administration or dispatch environment
• Excellent Word & Excel skills
• Strong written English, numeracy & organisational skills
• Import & Export administration knowledge advantageous
